When I was young, I had an attraction to the odd, the mysterious, and the spooky. I read many of the goosebumps books, watched "Are You Afraid of the Dark", and I even had a book on mummies and mummification. I found these stories and subjects fun and fascinating. And I still do. One of my favorite books series was the "Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark" series by Alvin Schwartz and illustrations by Stephen Gammell. So, in light of the Halloween season, here is a little something spooky, an audio project I did a couple years back for a film course I took. It is a reading of "Sounds" from "MORE Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark", read by Antonio Burkett, with the sound effects and editing done by me.
I hope you enjoy it and thanks for listening!
